Just remember, to get a verdict in a case like this, twelve people just as skeptical as you are about who's at fault, etc. have to be convinced after they have heard the evidence, and then vote. It's not easy to convince people in a case like this, and everyone wants to be fair, and they don't just shrug their shoulders and say, 'McDonald's can afford it' They sit there and listen to the evidence and decide based on the instructions the judge gives them for evaluating the evidence. It's easy to say this or that should have happened, but unless you were in that courtroom, heard the evidence and had to decide, you're working from ignorance.
