Kids Smarter Than Teachers?

A student teacher regularly tries to answer questions from the public. This is her attempt to answer the question 'are students smarter than teachers nowadays?', while trying to explain the extraordinary idea that kids are allowed to be smart, and teachers don't have to know everything.
What's your view?

Are any of the students smarter than the teachers nowadays? Bet that's true!
