Jackalopes are imaginary hybrids of jackrabbits and antelope that originate from North American folklore. Jackelopes are usually the subject of a kitschy artwork in novelty stores, especially in Western United States. The entire idea of a made up animal like the jackelope inspires strange stories and adaptions so it’s really no wonder that it also inspired so many weird tattoos.
