Facebook fugitive will be making his friends in jail for a while

Fugitive + Facebook + really stupid = former fugitive. A New York State man who fled to Indiana before he could be sentenced, then posted so many details on his Facebook and MySpace pages that he led police right to him, has a new status: Inmate. And it will stay that way for a year.

After his capture, Lockport police suggested Crego might be worthy of nomination as “America’s dumbest criminal”.
