Amazing time-lapse journey of a 3000 mile walk
This puts describing a 10-mile hike as "really long" into perspective.

Student Christoph Rehage decided to walk from Beijing, China — where Rehage was a student — to his home in Bad Nenndorf, Germany. (which is sort of crazy when you consider the vastness of China).

Along the way, he photographed himself. We've all seen those "picture a day" time-lapse videos. But the five-minute version of Rehage's epic walkabout, eventually covering over 4000 kilometers, is in a league of its own. You'll be amazed by this video.

My favorite part of the time-lapse is the beard action...his beard is longer, shorter, gone, back again....amazing look at what facial hair growth can do over a a year!
