YouTube user BronyVids has been busy mashing up scenes from the web TV series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic with thrilling action films, such as The Dark Knight. At the link, you can view similar videos using Inception and 300 as source audio.
As one of millions of people who like the new Batman franchise, and can’t wait for Christopher Nolan to make part III, I must admit this song makes some valid criticisms regarding The Dark Knight. (via io9).

The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan’s next project, Inception, opens next June, and like his last summer blockbuster, he’s opted for a similar poster design. As The Playlist quips, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
The poster for a movie is an important extension of the film itself. Not only do you want to have a sales impact with cool design, it often helps to brand your film with a similar style as your previous work. The Star Wars posters all followed the same basic form, so audiences would immediately know what they were looking at: a Star Wars product (or Indiana Jones, for that matter). This is a bit different, as it appears the filmmaker is branding himself, but its effect is still valid (if a bit lazy).

Ebay user tully712 made a go-cart modeled after the Batmobile in the movies Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. He’s selling plans for it and a license to build it. The bidding currently stands at $29.88. More pictures and videos at the link.
When I was six, my mother sewed a piece of velcro on an old blue towel. That was my Batman outfit. This is better: a functional set of motorcycle leathers modeled after the Batsuit in the movie The Dark Knight. Put one on, hop on your Vespa, and relish the attention. Because nothing impresses people better than wearing a superhero costume.
