As in, mixed together. University of Missouri senior Cary Silverman saw some kids sneaking liquor into a movie theater and a light bulb went off in his head: popcorn and alcohol hybrid! After some experimenting, he struck on the idea of making flavored coatings and brushing each piece of popcorn with it. As a result, you can now get beer, Pina Colada and Irish Creme-flavored popcorn. At least it&#8217;s not bacon-flavored&#8230; I know some of us are getting a little overdosed on the bacon-flavored everything.</p>

No doubt The Imaginary World&#8217;s vintage cereal box gallery will conjure up images of Saturday morning cartoons and massive sugar rushes. And even if you were more of the oatmeal type, some of the boxes are at least pretty interesting to look at. Does anyone remember Sir Grapefellow cereal? I&#8217;ve never heard of it, but &#8220;grape flavored oat cereal&#8221; doesn&#8217;t sound too appealing to me. And be sure to check out &#8220;Grins and Smiles and Giggles and Laughs.&#8221; </p>

They have rated eight brands of bubbly of varying tastes and low price points, so if you are as clueless as I am, you should find this helpful. They even have a bottle of <del datetime="2008-12-30T15:50:31+00:00">champagne</del> sparkling wine that tastes decent and costs, yes, $4. </p>

But the one I&#8217;m really intrigued by is the <a href="http://www.slashfood.com/2008/12/06/homemade-marshmallows-gift-of-the-day/">make-your-own-marshmallows</a> recipe. They seem easy enough, and they definitely look tastier than the ones you buy at the store. Have any of you ever made your own marshmallows? Is it worthwhile?</p>
