These vibrant, rainbow colored artworks are by Jen Stark, and they’re made entirely of paper! Some of them look like a portal to another dimension, while others are like a rainbow colored coating for an otherwise drab world.
You can see works from her latest show here, and here’s a link to a previous Neatorama post on Jen’s awesome paper artworks. I feel a flashback coming on!

This psychedelic habitat looks like a great place to *ahem* sit around with friends and laugh at stuff. Part of the Nautilus House in Mexico City, a conceptual abode that’s shaped like a giant shell, it looks perfect for entertaining and terrible for getting any kind of serious work done.
Take a mini tour of this tripped out pad, including the original concept art that inspired the architecture, at the link below.

These freaky paintings look like what you’ll see if you watch cartoons while on acid.
Created by Tina Lugo, they have a pop art flavor coupled with psychedelic melting madness, and yet the cartoon characters that star in these paintings are still recognizable.
Tina creates these bizarre pieces by painting enamel on sheets of Plexiglass, which enhances the vibrancy of the colors and gives them their cartoon cel look. Personally, I would love to see Hanna Barbera characters melt together in her future works!

In a series called Science Vs Delirium, artist Simon Bent creates colorful icons of some of the most amazing scientists in history, from Galileo to Freud. The series reminds me of the Yellow Submarine movie, which is to say I love it.

I wasn’t all that impressed with these swirling colors until I started playing with the sliding controls. You can change the size of the colored splotches, the amount of blur, the color change rate, and other dimensions until you find a very pleasing sequence of eye candy. Link -via Gorilla Mask

National Geographic reader Quinton Robinson took this amazing photo of a Madagascar giant leaf tailed gecko that looked at the world with trippy colored eyes!
