Siri Cole runs a unique business, Charming Party Ponies. She owns petite little ponies, available for rent at parties and festivals.

Pixie is a 10-year-old white Welsh pony mare, Cole’s prized possession.

“I love her, she’s really dear to me,” she says. “I really want her back.”

Pixie performed Saturday night at a festival offering rides to children. She was put away in her stall about 9 p.m. The next morning, she was nowhere to be found.

The man was originally reported missing to Tayside Police at 11.40pm after his wife became concerned and contacted her son who raised the alarm.

After hours of searching, the pensioner was eventually found safe and well in the flat next door to his own home, where he appears to have let himself in.

“I was travelling back and forth in the subways, and I just noticed the dejection. I’m a pop artist, and I thought –- if I could just make one person smile. I was thinking about ways to do that,” she said.

“A unicorn is beyond race, beyond religion. I wanted something that could reach anyone at any age. I thought, if I could just make a handful of businessmen on Wall Street think about unicorns, I will be successful.”

Mrs Petrillo, 35, a manager for a wine company, returned to the couple’s old home a mile away – and immediately recognised the cat as Alfie.

The three-year-old had lost the collar he used to wear and had put on weight, suggesting someone else had been looking after him while he was being mistakenly mourned.

Mr Petrillo said: ‘It was just unbelievable – the cat I had buried nine months earlier, the cat we spent about a month grieving over, was back, and my wife just couldn’t believe what she was seeing.’

Natalie went missing Tuesday evening while playing the game with her brother and sisters and the best efforts of neighbors, police and firefighters called by her frantic parents weren’t enough to turn up the tot.

The terrifying ordeal for her parents ended happily after more than an hour of scouring the neighborhood around the 10th Street mobile home park where the Jasmers live.

In the end, it was the family dog that flushed her out.

“Copper found her,” Natalie’s brother Kenny Findley said, crediting the mutt with discovering the tiny girl asleep inside a drawer underneath the washing machine in the family’s home.
