Meet the world's fastest stretch limo: a Ferrari Modena 360 limousine by Dan Cawley of Style Limousines and Prestige Limousine in Birmingham, England. They did cut a regular 360 Modena in two to create the behemoth. And of course, there's disco lighting. Can't have a party limo without disco lighting.

But there’s no winch or roll bar. Those used to come standard with the 80s era Lincoln Town Car (the last full size rear-wheel drive V8 sedan made by an American company and therefore, arguably, the last truly American car). I have no idea why this modder took them off.

Well, Bruce Wayne is a billionaire. Why should he drive himself around? This Batmobile was spotted in New York City and was probably based on a Corvette. Video at the link. Link -via DVICE | Photo: Autogespot

Although it lacks the refinement of a Geo Metro, a 1970 Oldsmobile Toronado station wagon isn’t a bad foundation for a limousine. This was one of several dozen built during the defunct custom car builder Miller-Meteor, a company perhaps best known for making the Ghostbusters’ Ecto-1. It recently sold on eBay for $3,000. The seller pushed it as a tool for picking up women, and it’s obviously well-designed for that purpose. Right, ladies?

It takes a special sort of genius to even envision a limo consisting of 2 or more Geo Metros, let alone build one. And is that duct tape? Even better.
Jalopnik reader Louis spotted this vehicle outside of Seattle.
In order to make Jillian Sherlock and Nikhil Pereira’s wedding day as perfect as possible, the five bridesmaids kept quiet about the carjacking incident until after the ceremony was complete. A man who had broken into a house near the church in Boston was looking for a getaway, and the limousine carrying the bridesmaids looked like a possibility.
“He started fighting with the driver, and the girls got out and ran,” said Karl Kammann, a Buckingham Bus driver who had just dropped off 48 guests at the church. “It was chaos. Right out from under the wedding party! What a way to get married.”
Headed in the opposite direction on Columbia Road was Gerald Whelan, who was sitting in traffic when he spotted the man get into the limo.
“I saw the driver’s side open, and the driver struggling, half in and half out,” said Whelan, 61. “He started yelling, ‘Help me! Somebody help me!’ ”
The driver managed to get out, unharmed, and the limo disappeared down Columbia Road, only to be abandoned shortly afterward on West Fifth Street in South Boston as police searched for the wedding bandit.
The ceremony went on as scheduled while police cordoned off the area as a crime scene. Another limousine was summoned to carry the wedding party. Link -via Arbroath
Vespa’s South African division had this stretch scooter made as a promotional gimmick. They refer to it as a family-sized vehicle:
According to Vespa, here’s a list of uses for the stretched scooter: it’s a sensible family car on two wheels and kids will look forward to going to school on it. You can be the designated driver and still park outside the front door of the party. When you make new buddies, you can take them home with you – and you save money on fuel.
It’s a custom job, so don’t rush down to a dealership expecting to find one.

This mysterious Batmobile-styled limousine was recently spotted in New York City. The carblog Autogespot suspects that it’s built from a Corvette C4, but that’s all the information that I can find.

As ministers, representatives, and journalists from around the world gather in Copenhagen to discuss climate change, rental car firms are having difficulty providing enough limos to meet the demand:
Ms Jorgensen reckons that between her and her rivals the total number of limos in Copenhagen next week has already broken the 1,200 barrier. The French alone rang up on Thursday and ordered another 42. “We haven’t got enough limos in the country to fulfil the demand,” she says. “We’re having to drive them in hundreds of miles from Germany and Sweden.”
And the total number of electric cars or hybrids among that number? “Five,” says Ms Jorgensen.
The local airport is expecting so many private jets that there will be no room to park them; the jets will have to fly to Sweden or other regional sites and then return later for their passengers.
