If you’ve played Skyrim, then you’ll not only appreciate the song and video, but you’ll also realize how much work they had to put in to fill all those rooms with mead bottles at the end of the video.

I don’t know about you guys, but I have never had a dog that actually enjoyed baths, especially one that pretty much laid back and soaked like this one does. I can tell you it would be a welcome change though.

This might just be a better movie than both the Phantom Menace or The Adventures of Tin Tin. Would you go see it?

I don’t know about you guys, but unless the applicant was absolutely terrible, I would totally hire him after that.
Here comes the dragonborn bride. Let’s face it, its funny and unique, but this certainly isn’t the most romantic first dance ever.

It’s so true and just so sad that they still haven’t gotten the point.

There’s Hello Kitty restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and more, so why not a dentist office? For those that just can’t stand the sterile environment of the standard dentist clinic, the Hello Kitty dentist office is a welcome alternative…even if it means having to travel to Japan just for a teeth cleaning.
The whole point of Skyrim is to kill dragons, which is precisely what makes it so bizarre to play as a pacifist. Surprisingly, it is possible…at least to some extent. I can’t imagine he’ll be able to be the game this way through.

Who knew Sabotage was so perfectly written to become a venn diagram? Really though, sabotage should go into another bubble. After all, it’s sabotage.

This is what I look like after a night of hardcore blogging. To be fair, a dog this lazy could only belong to a lazy person who obviously didn’t want to bother cleaning up the spilled food himself.
Hardcore gamers love expert mode because it provides them with such a challenge…but no matter how good you are at aiming, I don’t recommend trying out this advanced level -especially if you ever have any ladies visit your home.
Sure he looks cute, but the toppings are far from evenly spread…and how on earth would you divide it up between your guests? Worst of all, it probably is covered in cat hair.
You may not have realized it before now, but Andy Richter of Conan actually did a lot of the voice over work on Skyrim. Of course, it seems pretty obvious in retrospect.

I have no idea how the gentleman in question managed to smuggle this Pokemon card into the rest of the deck what with the giant diamond ring attached to it and all, but however he did it, the proposal idea is certainly impressive.

Last week, Miss C asked what your favorite blog says about you, but have you ever wondered what your favorite game says about you?
Street Fighter: You can’t spell some words.
Braid: You save old Moleskines full of doodles.
Tetris: You wear a short-sleeved shirt and tie to work.
Skyrim: You’re working on a novel.
Duke Nukem: You say “I’m street smart, not book smart.”
Pac-Man: You’re the last surviving consumer of Good & Plenty.
I think I would be working on a novel…but I don’t have the time thanks to Skyrim.
Have you wondered what your favorite website would look if it were part of 90′s hosting legend Geocities? Well wonder no more thanks to Geocities-izer. Above is their interpretation of Neatorama and believe it or not, that’s actually one of the better ones -just wait till you see YouTube’s homepage.
If you’ve seen the films, then you might not know it, but when the cameras weren’t rolling, Godzilla was actually quite a well-mannered gentleman adored by the women on the set. Just look at this lucky lady being accompanied by this studly ladies man

If you’re releasing advanced copies of your new video game, you probably want to make sure everything is perfect, lest the reviewers critique you for something that won’t even be in the final version of the game. Of course, while you’re probably focusing most of your energy on the game itself, it’s generally a good idea to at least take a good look at the box art and spelling, lest you release “revelaitons” to the world.

The Oatmeal is certainly the first site I think of for cards when I want to slide a note over to my secret crush at the Neatorama office. That’s why the site’s Valentine’s Day cards are just so darn wonderful… of course, that might also be why Zeon has a restraining order against me.
Of course, the problem here is that skin and again can be made to rhyme, so what will happen if you don’t put the dishes in the dishwasher…certainly you won’t get the hose again. Then again, do you really want to risk finding out what Buffalo Bill will do to you if you defy him?
What happens when lawn gnomes get bitten in the zombie apocalypse? Apparently the gnomes get a hunger for flamingo flesh the way regular zombies start craving human brains.
While this one wasn’t on the Mental Floss list of geeky license plates I linked to earlier this week, the great thing about this plate is that it actually takes into account the vehicle model as well.

By now, I’m sure you have all heard about SOPA and PIPA being as how every blog in the world has been talking about them as of late. Even those that are usually apolitical (like Neatorama) have taken a stand against the legislation, but despite all the talk and Wikipedia’s many messages warning about their upcoming blackout, some people still didn’t get the memo.
That’s where Herpderpedia comes in… chronicling the Tweets of people freaking out over the Wikipedia blackout despite the many warnings on the site and the fact that its blackout message clearly describes what’s going on.
Sure the Twitter account will only have one good day, but it’s certain to bring endless enjoyment for the internet snobs around the country.

This might just be the best license plate joke I’ve ever seen. While the rest of the license plates on this Mental Floss list are all pretty funny, this one certainly takes the cake.
You’ve already seen a picture of the AT-AT dog, but this shot of the little one munching on dinner is simply too precious to ignore.
Or at least, if he does know how to travel through time, he certainly is keeping tight lipped about it. He does have a good point though.

January is filled with weird holidays, from Run Up The Flag Pole and See if Anyone Salutes Day (January 2) to Play God Day (January 9) to Measure Your Feet Day (January 23), but of all the strange holidays this month, perhaps one of the most fun is National Hat Day on the 15th. While there are plenty of fun ways to celebrate this holiday, there’s perhaps no better way for our Neatorama readers to celebrate with a great geek hat like one of these.
Unsurprisingly, many of the best geek hats are custom made and, since many nerds also enjoy crafting, the majority of great geek hats you’ll find are knitted or crocheted.
As if any crochet Domo hat weren’t nerdy enough, Etsy seller littlepopos opted to make Domo in his excellent nerd incarnation, complete with tape on his glasses.
What better way to play your role as the Dovahkiin than to wear this delightful crochet steel helm based on the in-game icon by Etsy seller CreativeExcess. If you don’t want to fork over the money to get your own completed hat, you can always buy the pattern for $5, which is sort of a real-world version of forging your own helmet.
Pika-Pika-Pika-Hat! Why catch them all when you can get the cutest Pokemon hat from Etsy seller littlepopos?
If this were in my local paper, I’d help pay to have a picture of the cat posted. After all, there are young people who don’t know what Barbra Streisand looks like. -via Criggo
