Longcat Fleece Scarf

Posted by Miss Cellania in Fashion on November 8, 2009 at 2:08 pm

Longcat is long, and warm, too because he’s a scarf made of fleece, felt, and polyfil. Also available in Tacgnol style (black). This internet meme is brought to you by artist Heather Dugger. Link -via The Daily What

Etsy has become one of my favorite sites – not for shopping necessarily – but for surfing and checking out all of the weird and wonderful things people are creating. The item shown is called a Jackalope Feltidermy. See more in a list of bizarre items found on Etsy.

We’ve never seen weirder items until esty gave creative artists a place to run wild. We’ve got a list of the 15 weirdest etsy finds complete with jewelry that resembles body parts, soap for gamers and very strange and unique pop culture references.

Pirate vs Ninja Mobile

Posted by Queuebot in Weapons & War on April 3, 2009 at 8:30 am

It’s the age-old question: are pirates tougher than ninjas?  Here’s a mobile you can hang up and watch as the slightest breeze gets the action started.

The combatants go mano a mano with cutlass vs sword, leap vs lunge.  You have to provide your own sound effects.

Little Mr. T

Posted by Alex in Arts & Crafts, Movies & SciFi on December 18, 2008 at 1:39 pm

I <3 this adorable Little Mr. T by Etsy seller Kezzaroo:

Approximately 3 inches from toe to fro. Little T comes on a pin, complete with genuine gold plated chain!! Did you know that Mr.T once punched Chuck Norris at the exact moment he roundhouse kicked Mr.T in the chest. the result was the 80’s :)

Dont worry about Mr T getting on no plane fool! ill be sure to give him his milk before hes on his way to you. Do not lock him in a warehouse with a torch, tyres and scrap metal hell build a fully functioning tank and come get you ass. There may be small variations in the Mr T you receive like the mm size of fro :)

Remember kids there is no other like mother so treat her right ;)

I pity the fool who wants to buy this doll as it is sadly sold out: Link

Hand-Pierced Sterling Silver Necklaces

Posted by Stacy in Arts & Crafts on December 14, 2008 at 6:52 pm

I just discovered Anabella Designs on Etsy. Gorgeous stuff – this is a hand-pierced, sterling silver pendant. It’s even cut and filed by hand. I haven’t bought the sterling silver ones, but I did buy a couple of the enamel on copper pendants for Christmas gifts and am really excited to see them in person. I’m even more impressed because when I think about trying to do this on my own, I envision some major puncture wounds and a trip to the emergency room.
