deviantArt user ~toge-nyc created this dragon out of plastic forks, spoons, and knives held together with glue. It took him about 80 hours complete the project. If you check out his page, you can also see some pretty cool pen-and-ink drawings.

The Lucky Dragon is a work by Japanese artist Yanobe Kenji. It is a water and fire-shooting articulated steel dragon head with glowing eyes mounted on a 15-meter long cruise boat. The video above is of the boat in action at Aqua Metropolis festival in Osaka. It’s scheduled to make similar demonstrations in Osaka’s waterways until October 12.

Tired of commercialism?  Make your own cake!  This sleepy dragon with Dragon Eggs (for a 4 year old’s birthday party) is very fun… and all homemade!

If you’re doing your own party, the matching dragon illustration for the Party Invitation is available free for download (CC licensed) here.

Dragon Cake

Flickr user Astro-Lopithecus has a photoset of an amazing birthday cake shaped like a dragon clutching a 10-sided die. I’d venture a guess that whoever was celebrating his birthday is a D&D lover …
