Here's a great video from Oregon Public Broadcasting: The White Zombie, a 1972 Datsun that has been converted to run on nothing but electricity.
Not satisfied with an ordinary electric car,
John "Plasma Boy" Wayland kept improving it until it had the speed and power to
compete head-to-head with traditional drag racing vehicles.
