Neiman Marcus always has some over-the-top offerings for Christmas -after all, that’s the only reason some folks look at the catalog. This year, how about a cupcake car for only $25,000? Designed by artist Lisa Pongrace, the cupcake runs on electricity and has a top speed of seven miles per hour. Your purchase will be decorated in your favorite flavors. Link -via Buzzfeed

The World's Largest Cupcake

It was big enough to provide 1,500 servings:

Measuring 12 inches tall and 24 inches wide the cupcake weighed 150.7 pounds and used 15 pounds of fudge filling and 60 pounds of yellow icing.

Makers cakes.com created the cake as part of celebrations for the SpongeBob SquarePants’ 10th anniversary at the Minneapolis Mall of America.

An adjudicator from Guinness World Records was on hand to inspect (and sample) the cake before declaring it the world’s largest cupcake.

Sweet Dreams - A Cupcake Adventure

Here is a sweet video of a cupcake who dreams of sailing away and leaving it’s life all behind for an adventure. A very cool stop motion video created by Kirsten Lepore using veggies, fruits, and sweet snacks. After watching this I just felt like having a salad and then a cupcake afterward as a treat. It’s a good 10 minutes of a video so I highly suggest you eat along as you watch…so grab a snack and enjoy!

Cookie Eating Cookie Monster Cupcake – that’s the name of this neat creation, inspired by the cookie-loving Sesame Street character known for phrases like: “Me want cookie!” and “Me eat cookie!”
