The Matrix Dance

Posted by Phil Haney in Entertainment, TV on April 27, 2011 at 3:49 pm

I’m not normally one for choreographed dance routines, however if you check out Razy Gogonea’s performance on Britain’s Got Talent, I think you will agree this one is pretty sweet. Skip to about 1:30 in the video to see his recreations of iconic scenes from The Matrix that put Keanu Reeves slow motion bullet dodging moves to shame. Link

Shaolin Monk Displays Talent for Getting Kicked in the Groin

Posted by John Farrier in Everything Else on February 4, 2011 at 7:17 am

Yong Hsueh, a Shaolin monk, appeared on the Chinese version of Britain’s Got Talent to demonstrate his ability to get kicked in the crotch without suffering injury:

He told the audience: “Steel crotch Kongfu is an ancient art, with roots stretching back to ancient China.

“It’s a practice to strengthen and protect the male genital organs so there is less chance they are injured or incapacitated in battle.”

Cross legged male members of the audience watched in shock as various members of the panel were invited to boot the monk – who simply bowed and smiled after each blow – between the legs.

And how does one learn this skill?

The monk said the former could only be learned by a student that started in childhood – it involved pushing the testicles into the body where they could not be hurt.

Susan Boyle at the Semi-Final of Britain’s Got Talent

Posted by Alex in Music on May 25, 2009 at 6:23 pm

Y’all remember Susan Boyle, the instant sensation who took the Interwebs by storm when she sang at Britain’s Got Talent.

She recently sang at the semi-final of the show – and as you can tell, she’s got herself a make-over, though the bumbling and gosh-darn qualities that endeared her to the rest of the world are still there.

If you haven’t seen it, Miss Cellania got the clip: Link [embedded YouTube]

Susan Boyle’s Got Talent

Posted by Miss Cellania in Music, Video Clips on April 12, 2009 at 12:37 am

(Daily Motion link)

48-year-old Susan Boyle always dreamed of becoming a professional singer. When she walked out on the stage of the TV show Britain’s Got Talent, no one expected her to do well.

Miss Boyle told presenters Ant and Dec that she lived alone with just her cat Pebbles for company. She said: ‘I’ve never had a boyfriend. I’ve never even been kissed.’

She then stomped across the stage and began clumsily gyrating her hips towards the judges, prompting laughter from the audience.

But you can’t always depend on first impressions. Link
