Every geek can use a cable organizer, but why go boring when you can make your own awesome AT-AT organizer with the easy-to-use kit from Etsy seller GeekCook. Of course, if you want a smaller, cheaper option, our Cable Monkey is always a good call.

Lookit ‘em, boss! Great, big, fat sugary treats! Rachel Klemek of the Blackmarket Bakery made this gingerbread assault vehicle. Luke Skywalker is about to slice it open.

If AT-ATs had wheels, they wouldn’t fall down so easy. But they were built a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, possibly before the invention of the wheel. However, Christopher Aleria improved upon the design by setting an AT-AT body atop an Axial Rock Crawler 4×4 remote control vehicle. Link -via Illuminations and Other Stuff

These action figures are dismounting an AT-AT, having ridden it into battle. Conan’s there, too. The Barbarian, not the comedian, although Conan O’Brien would be a good addition to this lamp by Etsy seller Zygmunt Jarzembowski.

Geek cred is obviously very important to dogs these days. Katie Mello made this AT-AT costume for her dog so that he’ll be the coolest dog going trick-or-treating this year.

Now here’s a meadow I’d love to get a chance to visit. Where is this magical land of the AT-AT? I want to go there.

Finally after a thirty year plus wait, you can quit taking those items in for repair at exclusive mechanics. Now you can repair the bay doors on your AT-AT without having to resort to pricey mechanics who charge a fortune due to high Empire taxation–although the Pull-a-Part might be a ways. Designed by TGIGreeny, the manuals appear on a series of t-shirts which include the Tie Bomber, Tie Fighter, and for those with the means, Imperial Stormship.

On a brisk day on Hoth, you might enjoy an ice cream treat — if the ice cream truck can make it to your Wampa cave. LEGO artist Louis K. has the right idea about what sort of transportation would be necessary. Link -via reddit
Sage Werbock is a performing strongman who specializes in hauling enormous weights with his nipples. No, seriously, that’s what his website indicates, although I didn’t explore that section of it too far. You can do that if you want, but I’m going to focus on his blacksmithing work, and specifically, this AT-AT model that he welded together from scrap metal and old computer parts:
The main body is composed of power supply boxes from old computers, the head from floppy drive housings, legs and feet from various scrap metal. The entire piece has been welded together using the MIG welding process. Two coats of cold galvanizing primer are applied followed by a coat of varied grays and finished with two coats of protective gloss. The whole sculpture was randomly “attacked” with the welding arc to simulate battle scars.

What would could be a more perfect confection for a Star Wars than this AT-AT Wedding Cake with Ewok Cupcakes! The cake was made by pastry chef Teresa Ulrich and the details on it are intricate and amazing, although one commenter pointed out continuity problems as “there is no evidence to indicate that Admiral Ackbar or Mon Mothma were
ever in Hoth”.

Here’s a combination of memes I don’t think we’ve seen before: Star Wars and bacon.
The Bacon AT-AT was actually what I wanted to build before, but didn’t have enough time, so it seemed like the natural choice. The Bacon AT-AT stands 3 ft tall and is made with over 40 lbs of bacon. The body was made from foam, then the bacon was attached. This beast took 21 non-stop hours to build. If you’ve ever once thought to cook 40 lbs of bacon in your kitchen in one sitting, I can now personally advise against it.

We don’t know much about Mexican artist Chiara Bautista ("Milk" on MySpace) – but we sure know this: from Lucha Libre to science fiction, her artwork is fantastic!

Photographer Nick Drummond has a neat Flickr photoset of ATilla, his "pet" AT-AT. The best thing about having your very own Star Wars All Terrain Armored Transport Walker? It’s easily house-trained, of course! Link – via Super Punch
