Albino hummingbirds may be pretty rare, but for that matter, seeing someone walking around with shorts filled with hummingbirds isn’t an every day sight either. It seems that releasing their birds from their bonds and putting them back in the man’s pants might just be the best punishment for the smuggler.

The British government has opened a new airport in Wales that will provide services only to unmanned aircraft. Among them is the Royal Air Force’s Watchkeeper drone, which is pictured above. Before this airport opened, there were few places where the Royal Air Force could test its drones. Now the RAF will have 500 square miles of airspace accessible from this airport.
Other nations, including the US, restrict the flight of private unmanned aircraft. The Welsh government hopes to lure them to this new facility devoted to their needs.

It sounds like someone took Tom Hank’s role in Terminal too seriously.
Japanese citizen, Hiroshi Nohara, has decided to live in the Mexico City airport for 3 months and with apparently no reason. Since September 2, his home has been in the terminal and he has survived off food and clothing donations from travelers and airport shops lookin for advertising. In his own words, he claims to have no reason for staying so long:
“I don’t understand why I’m here,” he said through a visiting interpreter originally hired by a television station. “I don’t have a reason.”
He is now a minor celebrity in the city, as his refusal to go home has ignited the city’s imagination. Neither Mexican or Japanese authorities have been able to help persuade him to leave and he may stay put until his visa runs out in Early March.
