60th Anniversary of Nineteen Eighty-Four

George Orwell’s classic dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four was released sixty years ago this week.  It’s doubleplusgood.  To say otherwise is crimethink and will result in being sent to a joycamp.

On January 22nd, 1984, Apple Computer announced the January 24th arrival of its Macintosh computer with a clever ad during Super Bowl XVIII’s third quarter. Last week marked the 25th anniversary of the memorable ad.
