Wine in a box has been everything but classy since it debuted, but gone are the days of shamefully toting around the case of Franzia: Vernissage's"bag-in-a-bag" of wine is still boxed wine, but the box is shaped like a handbag. That makes it better, right? Right. The company says the new packaging is "meant to appeal to a classy lady heading out to lunch with the girls or dinner with her significant other." Whether that marketing ploy works or not, itis true that the bag-in-a-box design preserves the integrity of wine longer than a bottle by reducing oxidation. And the design features a cord handle for easy transportation because, let's face it, a box of wine this good-looking shouldn't just sit in the fridge. Link
