Motorcyclist Lays His Head on the Track During High Speed Turn (Video Link)Racing bike riders may occasionally drag their knees on the pavement while turning at high speeds. But this daring rider appears to deliberately lay his head on the track.Charles Darwin, call your office!-via Geekologie Comments (8) Newest 5 Newest 5 Comments Interesting how the guy's comment on that said that the race track would normally kick out people who pull stunts like that - sort acknowledging that what they did wasn't even normally tolerated by the track owner. Thanks for finding the original clip, Jeff! Abusive comment hidden. (Show it anyway.) Agreed. And it turns out the video was a stolen clip from a longer version. The original (posted by the rider) states that it was being shot by his Racer's Edge instructor who was following, so they were being as safe as can be expected. ;)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ov43cWkYIA Abusive comment hidden. (Show it anyway.) Can't argue with that! I have nothing against people who want to live on the edge - as long as they do it in such a way that doesn't endanger other people. This guys is on a dedicated race track, so he's only risking his own life (well, also the guy on the chaser bike, but I suppose that guys is consenting to the danger by filming it.)I loathe those who race on the streets and endanger other people's lives in addition to their own. Abusive comment hidden. (Show it anyway.) Haha. Valid... :DBut, as I always say when people criticize thrillseekers like B.A.S.E. jumpers, etc... if he does die, at least he did it living on the edge, getting more from it than most, as opposed to the statistically-proven rest of us who will have heart attacks due to a bad diet or die in a car wreck on our way to work our dull jobs. You have to go sometime, so why not live memorably in the interim? ;) Abusive comment hidden. (Show it anyway.) "That guy is living"Not for long, probably! Abusive comment hidden. (Show it anyway.)
