Essential Traffic Sign in Helsinki

The photoblog What The Helsinki?, which documents life in Finland's capital city, reports that this sign is "essential." I approve of the concept, but think that it could go further by permitting porcupines to use the human crosswalk.

With some summerheat untouched logic I conclude that there is speedlimit to the cars and warning about running squirrels in the street. I have seen warnings about toads, hedgehogs and sheep (yes, sheep!) in streets of Tallinn, some with speedlimit additions as in this picture.
