Mmmm? Shrimp Mayonnaise Doritos

We've featured plenty of the gourmet Japanese Doritos on Neatorama, but that's because they are totally weird and potentially delicious. The newest limited edition flavor is the shrimp mayonnaise, which sounds weird, but when you consider that many great dips and sandwich toppings use seafood and mayonaise as a base. And a rich seafood flavor of Doritos might just be the closest you'll get to buttered lobster. 

If you want to try these shrimpy treats for yourself, you'd better get to Japan before they're pulled from the shelves by Mid-March.

When I was a child, and my family would drive from Southern California to visit family in San Francisco, we would eat dried squid and dried cuttlefish. It was the jerkey of the sea, and had a consistency similar to rawhide. By the time we got to the Bay Area, we had the most horrible squid breath . . .
