By now, you've no doubt already heard that Hostess is going bankrupt, which could be the end of the Twinkie as we know it. If that scares you more than the idea of a third world war, then you'd better head over to WhiteHouse.gov and sign the petition asking Obama to help nationalize the Twinkie industry. Only 22,500 signatures left to go!

There is no chance that Hostess' brand names will die. This is merely a stunt for the union members to raid the retirement fund and the managers to steal the company from the owners.

The petition was started by a radio show host in Kansas City who goes by the name of Danny Boy. http://www.965thebuzz.com/, @dannyboi965, http://www.facebook.com/ABFMB. He's been contacting every news agency running with this story but nobody will listen. I suppose the conspiracy theory is much sexier than the truth, eh?
