Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen lived fast, died young and made quite an impression during Sid’s few years of fame, but their love never really rang true, and never really seemed worthy of dramatization.

John Simon Ritchie made himself into Sid after all, and Nancy made herself famous by hooking up with Sid, so it was far from a fairytale romance.

But if you believe in the existence of parallel universes then it's possible Sid and Nancy’s relationship could have easily played out like a romantic comedy in an another dimension.

That must be the dimension where TV shows still have lengthy theme songs instead of 7 second bumper intros so they can sell the rest of the time to advertisers.
