Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” in Klingon
Today, we use the Guardian of Forever to journey back in time--back to 1987--when Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” and Star Trek: The Next Generation came out. It was a cultural golden age, as you can see in this Klingon-language version of Rick Astley’s iconic hit. Here is “JIyIntaHvIS not Qajegh,” a music video by Commedia Beauregard.
This trailblazing theater group is also responsible for restoring Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol to the original Klingon and bringing that Yuletide classic to the sage.
