Dad Pulls The Long Troll

3

Take your time - read the sign. I feel bad for this little girl, her dad is a Reddit troll. Somehow I think this will end up as a traumatic event for this girl, she will never want to sign another contract again. Marriage? Forget about it! She has already made one 17 year commitment and that won't turn out well at all.

I agree with the logic of my threadfellows. However, I am a North American and I assume most of the others in this thread are too.

This might not be as scarring to the kid as we might think, and it might not be the pissy, punitive, long-term-trolling punishment that we North Americans see at first glance. Maybe the pic was taken by someone with different sensibilities?

My friends, and my family members (on mom's side) from Eastern Europe, my experience is they are far, far more tolerant of personal foibles. Personal foibles, the minor ones, anyway, are funny and give some insight. Plus, this being a baby picture, it is simply cute...not something in which to rub the grown child's nose.

/end pedantry ;)

I don't think that the signed "permission" is acutally legitimate, especcially as the signee is underage...

I would recommend to google "shit my kid ruined" before startig to complain about the rather usual incidents...

Hehe, funny and she's adorable. Hopefully she'll grow up with a great sense of humor and will be able to laugh at this when she's older.

Dad is a real wussy. Moms deal with 10 times more that that everyday. Everybody knows you just push it down the drain and move on. It all goes to the same sewer.

Somewhat off-subject but about the senior yearbook...

They wanted to publish a baby picture of every senior. My friends all dared each other to contribute a nude photo. I was the only one who did, sending a photo of my 9-month-old self taking a bath in a dishpan in the front yard in 1959. They published it, and I got all kinds of ribbing about everyone seeing my bare chest. You know how high school kids are -or were back then. But my house had burned down in the meantime, so when I got the photo back, it became the only existing baby picture of me. If I hadn't submitted it, there would be none now.
