Prairie Dogs Have Taken Over Middle School

For many of us, prairie dogs are cute little animals we visit at the zoo.  This is not the case for New Mexico residents where the animals have taken over the entire field of a middle school.  At Hayes Middle School in Northeast Albuquerque the animals have been busy creating holes you both can and cannot  see.

It is estimated that there about 60 prairie dogs out in the field. A prairie dog rescue group has been attempting to relocate the animals.
