Vintage Baby Clothes

By Tiffany in Baby, Children, Clothes on Jul 10, 2010 at 2:41 pm

I am no fashionista, but  I do have a soft spot for vintage clothes.  Many vintage pieces just seem to be made better.   The fabric choices down to the stitches tend to reflect  a level of care you don’t see very often anymore.

If you love vintage clothes like I do you should check out Belle Heir’s amazing collection of vintage baby clothes.  The clothes they offer are just beautiful.  Most of their one of a kind pieces are beyond my budget, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy window shopping. Their amazing finds kind of make me want to hit the flea market and see what wonders I can come up with.

My MIL saved my late husband’s baby clothes. He was her only child. She offered to let me use them, but they were linen, very scratchy, and would have to be ironed. Also, I was be afraid to get them stained, considering the cloth was 50 years old when my kids were babies.

    But they are so CUTE!

I love the dress look for babies! I think it is an adorable look for girls and I don’t understand why companies don’t make more of these!
