Goodnight Keith Moon is a parody of the classic children’s picture book Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. This version by Bruce Worden and Clare Cross features Keith Moon (1946-1978), drummer for The Who.

The humor is pretty dark, so readers who don’t wish to have haunting memories Goodnight Moon should probably skip this one.

In a new comic, cartoonist Patrick Moberg compares various web 2.0 social networking tools to intoxicating drugs, including tumblr, twitter, vimeo, and myspace. But don’t think that he holds these utilities in low regard. Moberg once used them and more to locate a girl that he saw on a NYC subway.

The History Bluff (motto: "Making a mess of history") brings us another headscratcher with the sad news that the first monkey to ever walk on the moon has passed away.

On June 3, 1981 Harlan the Monkey became the first primate to ever walk on the moon. Harlan died on November 18, 2009 of an apparent Tang overdose.

A funny illustrated look inside the world of internet trolls, with a classification chart of different traits and different members of the troll ecosystem.

The best way to deal with trolls varies by type. To deal with the professor and critic, ignoring their rants goes a long way. They may get angrier at first, but the lack of an audience will drive them to more easily riled up communities, soon. Screamers should be gagged somehow, and are usually easy to pick out by their caps lock and swears-to-normal-words ratio.

Ok, so maybe there is a slight hint of sarcasm incorporated into the title of this video.  Apparently there is a learning curve, for some, when it comes to the classic household game of hide and seek.  This little "ninja" has a long way to go in terms of mastering the art of finding a stealthy hiding spot.  The two images at the end of the video are priceless.

I would marry FireFox, but every once in a while have a fling with Safari (For the looks) & Chrome (For the performance).

Can’t say which one i’d marry but I’d divorce IE6 in a second.

IE makes promises it doesn’t keep.Safari is unpredictable and incompatible. Firefox hogs the resources. I think I’d be single.

Firefox, though I have to admit, I’ve had several affairs with Safari. *shamefaced* But I’ll always come back to you, Firefox!

Adolph Hitler’s “outburst” scene from the 2004 film “Der Untergang” (”Downfall”) is an excellent example of how a cultural event can go “viral” as an internet meme.  Because the original film was in German, complicated overdubbing is not required; creation of a parody can be achieved by the simple expedient of superimposing fake subtitles.

Dozens of such videos can be located with a quick search of YouTube, including ones in which Hitler reacts to sporting events, computer problems, Obama, Palin, Brett Favre, losing his home to foreclosure, the use of the term “grammar Nazis,” and even the existence of the parodies themselves.  The most recent example, embedded above, has him ranting about another meme – the “balloon boy” hoax.
