Movies and TV shows are constantly trying to convince us the main characters are super special in some way, and the producers often use wardrobe as a way to make their stars stand out from the supporting cast.
But instead of looking super cool these ridiculously overdressed characters just come off looking like super fools, or super tools, take your pick.
I don't believe a vampire would be caught (un)dead in such a hideous jacket, and I don't believe our Friend Rachel was really a fashion expert since she can't figure out where her belt is supposed to go.
And will somebody please tell me what the hell Samantha Jones was thinking when she slipped on this utterly ridiculous looking dress with the spiky shoulder pads? Maybe she was dressing for a New York Fashion Week riot?
