Pizza is one of those foods that you can forgive for melting your mouth when you bite into it, unlike those sneaky tater tots that are scolding hot and hanging out with the rest of their buddies who are regular temperature for some reason.
And when a pizza is "that good" (and trust me you know when a pizza joint is dishing out a pie that is "that good") the burns and scarring can be seen as part of the dining experience.
