Guy Hires Random Family For His Christmas Portrait

This is Josh, a 24-year-old college student from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan.

Josh wanted to do something nice for his distant relatives this year, so he came up with a concept for a Christmas card photo that would knock their socks off. But first he had to find a fake family...

A family was located and the prank Christmas card was created, complete with the caption "Season's Greetings from the Brassows. Josh & Patty "Bone-Crusher" Johnson, and the boys Blade & Thor"

His relatives didn't get the joke, but Josh's dad can't look at the card without laughing his head off, so at least one person in Josh's family appreciated all of his hard work!

Sorry, but whether you want to admit it or not, you're reading in to this. Zeon's text never mentions the women's size and the guy's post says he could have used a larger, intimidating woman go stand behind him, but he didn't, which mrans he's not talking about her. I think it's pretty obvious to most people that in that context he means a very tall one.

The joke has nothing to do woth the woman's size or even that he is pretending to marry someone (no matter what they look like) , but that he took a "family portrait" with strangers.

And sorry, but you can read into articles all you want to say we make fun of fat people, but we have three writers. I am over 60 pounds overweight, Zeon and I have been together for almost 10 years, so I guarantee he has no problem with overweight women. And I know Miss C never posts "mean things about fat people" and we're the three people eho write on the site, so it's not happening anywhere besides in your head. I know firsthand that it sucks to be overweight, but just because you're unhappy with your weight doesn't mean people are sitting around nd making fun of you.

Personally, I find it awesome that he hired a fat woman rather than having an imaginary trophy wife. Obviously this is how he envisions a real family looks, which is pretty body positive. But hey, if you're looking for negativity everywhere, you'll find it.

Actually no, I find that Neatorama often posts mean things about fat people with little disregard to our actually being people. There's nothing funny about an adult male marrying an adult female who has children. Lots of people do it. The article mentioned "a much larger woman" as if that is the punchline.

No, what's funny is that the guy is 24 years old, so for him to have kids that age he would have had them when he was like 8-10 years old. But it is funny that you, sarcastic defender of the woman who volunteered to be in the pic and loved the experience, focused on her weight more than anything else. I hadn't even considered her weight when I posted this article, because she looks pretty average to me, but it appears you have some body image issues you need to work out AlisonG! Looks like the "G" stands for "grow up"
