The Pipelines of America

Randal Munro of the webcomic xkcd illustrates how much we Americans consume of various fluids as if they were conveyed, like water and oil, through pipelines. He's got everything, including breast milk, glass, and cement.

Keep in mind that the top portion is a subset of the bottom portion. Our honey consumption isn't actually a tenth of our petroleum consumption.

I am now just a bit distressed that, in the 21st Century, we still haven't figured out a way to move mayonnaise through pipelines.
