Police Rescue Fake Fur Collar

Police in Newport, Shropshire, UK. were called out on a report of an injured otter on the side of the road. When they got to the specified location, they found the “otter” was a fake fur collar that had become detached from a coat. But that wasn’t the end of it. Police officers duly Tweeted the incident and then decided to have some fun with it. They named the collar “Ollie” and took a picture of him riding in a police vehicle.

Later, we see that Ollie has settled in well at his new home at the police station. He’s checking out the publicity he’s generated.

A good time was had by all. -via Arbroath

What's next for this extraordinary hairy collar? A shot at traveling to the moon? A shot at walking the red carpet at the Oscars? Anything's possible when you are a 'collar', IMO. YAY! GO, Collar!!!
