Good things to do on your lunch break include- buying a homeless person a meal, squeezing in a bit of cardio in the gym, and taking pictures of people milling about on the sidewalks.

If lunchtime portraits become a social media trend then photographer Charles H. Traub deserves credit as an originator of this idea.

Charles hit the sidewalks of Chicago from 1977 to 1980 capturing portraits of people on their lunch breaks for the aptly titled series “Lunch Time”, which is finally going to be released in book form by Damani Press.
