If you want to experience true defecatory excellence, then go to Japan. That nation is known for producing the most technologically advanced toilets in the world. They’re serious business, which is why there’s a toilet museum and some Japanese people clean public toilets as a hobby.

An organization called the Japan Unko Society is dedicated to teaching the public about fecal health. It regards proper, thoughtful excretion and regular stool examinations as essential for a sound body. At a recent convention, the Japan Ukno Society drew visitors to its booth with a custom toilet covered with anime-style characters.

The title of my post is a bit incomplete. These girls are not, to the best of my knowledge, characters in an anime series or movie. They are personified versions of the bacteria that live inside human intestines. They look friendly for a reason: you need them to live, so they’re here to help you. Embrace them as you ascend to your throne.
