He wore the mask as a symbol of triumph, a symbol of all the amazing adventures he'd gone through in his many lives, but the Skull Kid saw the mask as a way to become a legend. Link's life felt like a game when he donned the mask, and yet he only used the mask's powers for good, but the Skull Kid would use the mask to play a much darker kind of game....
