That oogie Boogeyman was feeling dog gone tired after all that fussing and fighting with Jack, and he needed a little time to reflect on the direction his afterlife was heading. He knew peanuts about being an average guy, and when it came to getting along with others Oogie can't help but act like a snake in the grass. In fact, the only real friends he'd ever had were those three little round headed kids he was always sending out to do jobs for him, and they'd stab him in the back for a garlic candy cane! Sometimes it's tough to be the king of nightmares...
