The Little Rascals, Then and Now

In 1994, children were treated to a film called The Little Rascals. It was an updated, full-length color feature that used the plots of several of the original Our Gang shorts from the 1920s, ‘30s and ‘40s. Twenty years later, the company 22Vision reunited the cast of child actors to recreate the poster and some of the scenes from the movie. The Our Gang shorts were produced from 1923 to 1944, which meant that as cast members aged, they were replaced by younger child actors. In 1936, Hal Roach Studios staged a reunion of the earlier cast members, now young adults, and the new child actors.
