America’s Vanishing Historic Movie Theaters

Photographer Stefanie Klavens sought out historic movie theaters for her ongoing photographic series “Celluloid Dreams.” The grand, ornate theaters of the early 20th century are becoming rarer every day, as movie crowds move to multiplexes and restoring the old theaters becomes ever more expensive.
