PixelTrek

Need a shot of Star Trek: The Next Generation? Try out the charming game called PixelTrek. It’s not quite finished, but just being on the USS Enterprise-D will make you smile.

In what appears to be a very much unauthorised homage to Star Trek: The Next Generation, PixelTrek is a painstakingly recreated 8-bit style version of Captain Jean-Luc Picard’s erstwhile command. The project is still a work in progress but you can wander around Data and Lt. Worf’s quarters, as well as the famous Bridge, where everything seems to be frozen in time.

I’m not clear on what the ultimate goal is, or will be when the game is launched, but just taking a tour and seeing the pixelated crew is a delight.

No, there is no way off the battle Bridge via the Flood Gate and no way off the first 4 decks, Bridge, Lower level 1, deck 2, Shuttle controls bay and the formal Foyer are all that seem to be available.

When you go into a turbolift, press the yellow 'Turbolift' button that pops up. It can take you to decks 1 (bridge), 2, 4, 8, and you can walk on the stairs to get to deck 3.
Amazing detail! I've found: E.T., an Andorian on the toilet, Tribbles, Spot, and a non-human toilet near sickbay.
