Billboards are generally placed where they can be seen by as many people as possible, and their high visibility makes effective ads stronger and billboard fails, well, they’re extra bad and have no place to hide!
Offering your funeral home services? Don’t include a bad pun in your tagline. Advertising the local news? Don’t include a headline, unless you want your reporters to come off looking like sickos. Placing two ads side by side? Be careful what your new doublewide image says about your product, or your viewing public might get a bit sore.
