United Buddy Bears in Rio de Janeiro

The German consulate in Rio de Janeiro organized the installation of 145 bear sculptures called United Buddy Bears along the promenade at Copacabana Beach. Each bear is decorated to represent a country belong to the United Nations, and its aim is to promote friendship and cooperation between nations.
