Abandoned Detroit Parking Garage Turned Into Street Art Gallery

The Library Street Collective underwent a massive endeavor, dubbed The Z Project, to turn a 10-story parking garage in Detroit into a place for street art lovers to hang and take in the pieces rendered on the walls by street art superstars Dabs Myla, Pose, Revok, and Maya Hayuk, just to name a few.

In keeping with street art tradition, something the Banksy-ites seem to have forgotten, the walls won't be torn down because the pieces aren’t for sale, they’re simply there to admire, inspire and make your eyeballs perspire. And once the artist decides their piece has had their time in the sun they can paint over it and create a new masterpiece.
