In Japan society revolves around being polite, and trying not to offend anyone who might get mad and start emitting squiggly lines, spirals and exclamation points from their foreheads. The Japanese take civility very seriously, so if you’re not sure what people will find offensive the whole thing may seem a bit daunting.

Tips like don’t fall asleep on your neighbor, don’t play your music too loud and don’t smash people between your backpacks may seem like common sense, but some people just weren't raised in such a polite society and don't know how things go in Tokyo.
