A Remembrance Day Funeral

World War II veteran Harold Jellicoe Percival died in a nursing home in Blackpool, England. He was 99 years old and had outlived the rest of his family. The above obituary in the local newspaper went viral on Twitter and other places around the internet. Percival's funeral was scheduled for 11AM this morning, and despite the rain, over 300 people showed up. See pictures of the service at The Daily Mail. You might want to have a hankie ready.

That is so cool. I think my allergies must be kicking up because my eyes are getting watery.

Mr. Percival, thank you from across the pond for your service.
