Neighborhood Terrorized by Chickens

About a dozen angry chickens are terrorizing people and pets in a Fort Myers, Florida, neighborhood. No one claims ownership of the flock, because keeping chickens in town is illegal, and the city's Animal Control can only handle dogs, cats, and ferrets. This story is a golden opportunity to make chicken puns, and the TV news report is full of them. Warning: autoplay video.

Yes, "harassed" is spelled that way throughout the report. I checked the original story at Fox 4 (still autoplay video) to see if Ken Rohde really spells his name like that, and it first appears that he does. But then the text also refers to the chicken breed as "Rohde island red," so your guess is as good as mine. Sure, I misspell words, too, but I correct them when someone points them out.

I once called animal control when a stray-ish rottweiler attacked my dog and me. Lesson learned: never call animal control. Take care of those problems yourself.
