Glass Floods a Remodeled Church with Color

(Photo: Chris Burnside)

We've previously seen the firm Olson Kundig Architects build a house in the San Juan Islands with a pop-up roof. Nearby, in Seattle, it upgraded the Gethsemane Lutheran Church with huge multicolored panels of glass. As the sun moves across the sky, different colors move over the walls and floor of the chapel. You can see more photos of it at the link.

My church has colored glass, too! Except it's cut into smaller pieces, separated with lead strips, and arranged into pictures. Makes really nice colors as the sun moves about.
