Bobby Petersen, Tom Gottelier and Edward Thomas designed the Pulp Paper Helmet. It's made of recycled newspapers. Their helmet is meant for short term use and will survive only 6 hours in the rain. But once it starts to break down, you can just recycle it again.

I don't like the this helmet, it somehow reminds me of UN-soldiers...
additionally, i ask myself, if after 6 hour of sweating cycling in the summer the helmet still has enough stability and you don't have bluish hair...
I am not a great friend of bicycle helmets, but is sure would mistrust this one...
I would like to have it checked for its safety before even considering using it..
